    Requirements for Data Engineer (Scala):

    • Using techniques such as test-driven development pair programming and continuous integration
    • Working closing with Data Scientists and Product Managers to ensure software is high quality and meets user requirements.
    Lead Developer:
    • Leading from the front and bringing the team with you
    • Designing, prototyping and implementing big-data applications using best-practice agile development processes
    • Working with Java 8, Scala and Spark to enrich data lakes, identifying information and making it available to researchers
    • Building cloud infrastructure in AWS to host and monitor the applications, automating common task.
    • Building and leading a high-performance, agile, quality focused team.
