At Empiric, we are currently partnering with an enterprise client in Germany to secure a dedicated SAP Payroll Specialist. What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading end-to-end configuration, optimization, and support for SAP PY-DE (German Payroll) and/or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• Partnering closely with HR, IT, and legal teams to translate complex German labor laws, tax updates, and social security regulations into seamless SAP configurations.
• Designing, troubleshooting, and testing payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and integrations with Time Management (PT), Personnel Administration (PA), and Organizational Management (OM).
• Managing key legal reporting interfaces and regulatory workflows, including DEÜV, ELStAM, and statutory health insurance submissions.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience in configuring and supporting SAP Payroll for Germany (PY-DE).
• Deep functional knowledge of German payroll legislation, wage tax laws (Lohnsteuer), and social security requirements (Sozialversicherung).
• Proven expertise with schemas, rules (PCRs), wage types, and integration with SuccessFactors / Employee Central Payroll.
• Business fluency in German (C1/C2) is required; strong English is highly desirable.
• Must be based in the EU and hold full EU working rights.
